General News

 Let me start off by wishing all our members & connections a safe and prosperous New Year.............

 

We had what I would describe as a very successful xmas party in December , although a new venue , it worked well , one member in particular was going to put pen to paper to thank the Gryphon for their efforts !! I am sure we will be back !!

 

At that event I was pleased to announce the results of our annual point score , awarded to those members who attend consistently throughout the year in vehicles of their choice !!

 

First went to Peter Hoskin , 2nd to Ian Phillips , 3rd to Mike & Ruth Shanahan ( yet to be handed trophy ).Graham Moore will award his perpetual trophy at the January Breakfast !!

 

On the topic of breakfasts , John Higham has done some research on alternative breakfast venues and has come up with the Red Hill Lookout Cafe , which we will try on the 26th of January at 9.00am.If it works well we will look at continuing with that as the new breakfast venue for 2014 !! It is not a set menu , people will choose what they want on the day !! A wide range is available on the Sunday menu !!

 

Membership renewals are now due !!

 

Lakeside on Tuesdays

 The get togethers at the lake continue for 2014 !!
